A　translation　by　Isaac　Newton　is　found　among　his　alchemical　papers　that　are　currently　housed　in　King's　College　Library,　Cambridge　University.

Tis　true　without　lying,　certain　&　most　true.　

＜訳＞　これは偽りなき真実であって、確たる真正なる真実である。


That　which　is　below　is　like　that　which　is　above　&　that　which　is　above　is　like　that　which　is　below　to　do　the　miracles　of　one　only　thing　

＜訳＞　唯一なるものが奇跡をなすために、下にあるものは上にあるもののごとく、上にあるものは下にあるもののごとくある。


And　as　all　things　have　been　&　arose　from　one　by　the　mediation（meditation)　of　one:　so　all　things　have　their　birth　from　this　one　thing　by　adaptation.　

＜訳＞　万物が「唯一なるもの」の調停・采配（瞑想）により「唯一なるもの」から湧き起こり、存在するように、それゆえ、万物は、「それに順応すること　-因縁-　」によって「唯一なるもの」から生まれ起る。すなわち　-縁起-　である。


The　Sun　is　its　father,　the　moon　its　mother,　the　wind　hath　carried　it　in　its　belly,　the　earth　is　its　nurse.　

＜訳＞　太陽はそれの父である。月はそれの母である。風はそれを腹に入れて運ぶ者である。大地はそれを育てる者である。


The　father　of　all　perfection　in　the　whole　world　is　here.　

＜訳＞　全世界の全き完全性の父がここにある。


Its　force　or　power　is　entire　if　it　be　converted　into　earth.　

＜訳＞　もし、それが大地に転換されるなら、その力は全能である。


Separate　thou　the　earth　from　the　fire,　the　subtile　from　the　gross　sweetly　with　great　industry.　

＜訳＞　大いなる努力により、上手に粗雑なものから微細なものを分離せよ。火から大地を分離せよ。


It　ascends　from　the　earth　to　the　heaven　&　again　it　descends　to　the　earth　&　receives　the　force　of　things　superior　&　inferior.　

＜訳＞　それは大地から天に昇り、そして再び大地に降り、上位と下位の力を受け取る。


By　this　means　you　shall　have　the　glory　of　the　whole　world　

＜訳＞　この方法によって、あなたは全世界の栄光を得るだろう。


&　thereby　all　obscurity　shall　fly　from　you.

Its　force　is　above　all　force.

For　it　vanquishes　every　subtle　thing　&　penetrates　every　solid　thing.

So　was　the　world　created.

From this are & do come admirable adaptations whereof the means or process is here in this.

Hence　I　am　called　Hermes　Trismegist,　having　the three　parts　of　the　philosophy　of　the　whole　world
